Anthony Horowitz in conversation - Waterstones Kensington

Waterstones Kensington is delighted to welcome bestselling author Anthony Horowitz as he celebrates the paperback release of the latest Alex Rider book, Nightshade: Revenge. Anthony will be talking about this book and writing in general before answering audience questions, followed by a book signing.

Anthony is one of the most prolific and successful writers working in the UK – juggling writing books, TV series, films, plays and journalism. Anthony has written over 50 books including the bestselling teen spy series Alex Rider, which is estimated to have sold 21 million copies worldwide and has been turned into a hugely successful TV series by Amazon Freevee. A third series has just been filmed and the fourteenth Alex Rider novel, Nightshade: Revenge was published in 2023. In January 2022 he was awarded a CBE for his services to literature.

This event will be held at the Lecture Theatre at Kensington Central Library on 12 Philimore Walk (located just behind Waterstones Kensington). Kensington Central Library is just off Kensington High Street and is a short walk from High Street Kensington Station. There are many bus routes that go up and down the high street and there is a car park beneath the library itself.

Please especially note that ticket holders 16 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult (who must also purchase a ticket) in order to gain entry to the venue and to remain in the venue for the duration of the performance. The venue reserves the right to refuse entry to unaccompanied ticket holders who are 16 years of age and under.
