The fifth Hawthorne novel, CLOSE TO DEATH, publishes on 11 April. Penguin Random House have, for the first time, created a special collector’s edition.
It’s a handsome thing with a gold foil fountain pen (I still use a fountain pen for my first drafts) and a copy of my signature. It will only appear in the first print run so you probably need to pre-order to get one.
