For me, one of the great pleasures of Ian Fleming’s James Bond novels is that I can return to them over and over again and each time I find something new to enjoy. There are sequences I’ve read so many times, you’d think they would bore me. But even if I know exactly what’s going to happen, I can still admire Fleming’s artistry: his brilliant writing and extraordinary imagination.
