The forthcoming season is adapted from the fifth Alex Rider novel, Scorpia. It sets the titular spy on the path of fighting his greatest enemy, which is the elusive criminal network known as Scorpia. The criminal cabal is under new leadership, and it plans to extort the British Government using a devastating new super-weapon which is referred to as the Invisible Sword.
Alex is free of The Department in season 3, but he has the support of his closest friends: Tom (played by Brenock O’Connor) and Kyra (Marli Siu). The trio begins a personal mission to destroy Scorpia once and for all. But in a twist, Alex's connections to The Department may prove to be murkier than he thought. The returning season 3 actors also include Vicky McClure as Mrs. Jones, Stephen Dillane as Alan Blunt, and Ronkẹ Adékọluẹ́jọ́ as Jack Starbright
