Sir Anthony, I will never forget the day I laid my eyes on Nightrise (I accidentally bought the book first without knowing it was part of a series, so yeah…). Being a book worm, I’ve read various types of books with different styles of writing and storytelling. I can honestly tell you, I have not yet found another book series as intriguing as the Power of Five. You managed to write a children adventure story with such a dark, powerful twist to it. Amazing! (I even told my friends to read your books and now they’re in love with you)

Although, in my opinion I found the characters to be a little young for such mature thinking but thats probably due to me comparing myself to Matt Freeman. As I read the books, I always asked myself : would I do the same thing if I was him? Would I make the same decisions as him? Even though I knew most of it were not Matt’s decisions, it was something he HAD to do, but I couldn’t stop admiring his courage and determination to end evil.
I’ll never know if I’ll be like Matt but if there are any evil entities out there calling themselves ‘the Old Ones’ or ‘the Smelly Ones’, I want to be first one to battle them!(ehh…or maybe the second one)

You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting for the last book. I checked every time I walked into a bookstore for months! That’s the effect your books have on me Sir. I’ve started writing a few stories but have no patience to complete them. I don’t know how you do it but keep doing it! I hope Richard survives and there’s more about him in the book. He’s my favorite character!!!

So Sir Anthony, thank you for writing these wonderful books, giving me the opportunity to daydream about them in my head, especially about Richard. >.<
And by the way, when you said you felt like a sheep in a fog between two mountains…well…you shouldn't have felt that way. Because in my eyes, you're the BEST man out there.

Before endeavoring into this long letter of acclamation and adoration, I feel somewhat obligated to tell you, you’ve saved me from dying.
Not in the conventional sense of the word, of course, but I believe that if one is not preoccupied with something, one is not living, and if one is not living, one must be dying. So, many a time when I have indeed found myself without anything to do, I’ve been able to pick up a book of yours, and you’ve given me the great advantage of being able to chose between several series.

To return to the aforementioned compliments, I find that your style of writing is most pleasing. It is observant, precise, at times morose, yet retaining the hope of youth, which most of your heros are a part of. I’m living a life which allows me to travel quite a bit, so I’ve been to all the places you talk about in your book. It’s a pleasure for me to find out what might of inspired you.
