I've read it and it's very good. The action has a lot of tension. There is a bit towards the end where things go a little flat, but it picks up pace after that. Matt isn't like Alex in that he doesn't try to do superhuman things in a physical way. In fact, he's often at a bit of a disadvantage when push comes to shove, but at the end, his powers help him overcome the bad guys. It's slightly better than the Alex Rider books. (I know that's subjective).
It's inspired me to try my hand at writing a novel for kids. Usually I write feature films. (The pay is better and they're a lot less typing). When I've finished the novel, I'll put it up on my site.

i thought ravens gate was brillient, iv just read the 2nd one. I heard that the next gatekeepers are telepathic, shame is Matt the only gatekeeper with offencive powers?
