Australia is generally the same as the UK when it comes to the release date of AH books...

Could you please stop posting everyday, clogging up this thread with posts that go along the lines of "[number] days...". This is borderline spam.

Also - you are a few days off...

However, to satisfy our eagerness, I have created a countdown! So now you can know it TO THE SECOND! grin

So - REJOICE!

Pedro, isn't that double-posting? shocked

Anyway, has anyone spotted the Oblivion cover anywhere yet.  I have seen reports that people have already seen the cover but I cannot find it.  Has anyone seen it!  If so please share it.

Thank you

While it seems to be double posting - there was a case of tripple posting in between my two posts. They were obviously deleted by a mod.  grin

UK COVER

Not sure about the US Cover yet. That one is definitely the UK one, because it was on the Walker (AH's UK publishers) website. However, it is on a page for the preorder of the US edition. I think that the most likely explanation is that there has been no US cover shown yet and Amazon is just using the only cover that has been released. Please inform me if you have heard differenly.

Hi Dunnno!  grin

Welcome to the board!! If I'm remembering this correctly, I don't think you can start a topic of your own until you have posted at least 15 posts... If you have any other questions though, feel free to ask.

You might be able to find the answers to most of them in the moderator posts at the top of the "General Discussion" area. If you want, I can link a couple of them for you here:

Has anybody cOnsidered that Jamie could be in a rebuilt York? The old ones could have rebuilt it and put new followers there and keep on watch over the city and door.

And should this topic say spoilers or something if it doesn't already?

There isn't a door in York is there? The only doors in England is the one in London at ST Marydiths (sorry if I spelt that wrong) and the one that Jamie has gone through in the first chapter of Oblivion which isn't in York.

Spoilers for what? Necropolis? We generally only do spoilers for an AH book up until 3 months after it's release, and this thread has been around since the release of Nightrise, so generally one would just put a spoiler warning at the top of their post. However, in this case they are unnecessary as the book has been out for ages...

Also, your theory sounds plausible...but was there a door in York???

Maybe with the destruction of one door, the whole door system crumbled, however, there had been a back-up door system that had been built - which has came into effect now...Huh

We are currently trying to work out WHERE the door that Jamie has popped through in the 1st chapter is. As it has not been mentioned before. One of the theories is that it is in York...

A backup door system is a good theory, but, at the end of Necropolis when Chaos is thinking to himself, it mentions a trick the doors will play on the 5. The backup door system I think would actually help the 5 as the Old Ones would not know where the doors are any more. I think the doors will perhaps time travel because of first chapter of Oblivion when Scout says there isn't any TV any more, but I'm not sure about this door trick.
