I do see what Pedro means. All of my AR books are the same, except Stormbreaker because I have the movie edition. They all look nice on the bookshelf because they're the same, and there are enough of them so that SB isn't a problem....

...Quite like having different ones. For AR, all but SB and SR are the same, but for Harry Potter I've got like, Normal, Small, Hardback, Hardback with hardback colour broken off, Hardback, Hardback, Adult's edition hardback.

Mind you, a lot of AR covers are falling off - but I like them like that.

My rats live and Nightrise covers HAVE fallen off. I got a new copy of the former though - after my friend left my almost dead one in Yorkshire...

Hehe, leaving it almost dead in Yorkshire. Quite a good place to leave it, really.

Is it like Foxes Live, but for rats? I like rats. WE'VE GOT A MOUSE IN THE HOUSE AND IT'S SO CUTE AND I SAW IT AND OH IT'S CUTE.

I feel we're quite off topic, mind.

Oh wow it's been long since I was last here..! And when I came back and found a sneek peek at Oblivion, I was beyond ecstatic!!!

Anyway about the Oblivion, doesn't it seem like it's set some time in the future? The girl said they were in England, but as people have pointed out why the guards and the kind of "crazy" mood everyone have. Like completly religious and not very frindly to outsiders. And correct me if I'm wrong but that doesn't really seem like the England I know of. Also she mentioned that they did not have TV and when Jamie said he took the buss, he was imidetly busted so maybe they no longer exist either? Also didn't she mention that water was precsious and seemed like it was hard to come by? Does England have a lack of fresh water? (Not english so I have no idea..)

And anyway she was harvesting appels, she said something about yellow ones and aren't those the sweetest ones and only grow in warmer clima? And no offense but England as I know it isn'y exacly a tropical island. (btw, I know nothing about apples so pls correct me if I'm wrong)

So it seems to me that something went wrong when they jumped trough the doors and ended up in the future. Also seems the climate have changed somewhat. How else do they plan on fighting a war in Antartica without freezing their butts of?
But well thats just my thoughts, I'm probably completly wrong, but tell me what you think plz!=)

Why didn't you say that BEFORE I jumped of the cliff..?

It rains in England all. the. time! It is insane. It is impossible for them to be short of water unless...

as you said, there have been serious climatic events and this is THE FUTURE.

Your ideas are very good. Better than mine...

....we did only just get the hosepipe ban off. But at the mo, a lack of fresh water isn't a problem anyone I've ever heard of has suffered from. Including from in the news, so....

Yeah, AH said there'd be oodles of climate change (maybe not in those terms) but yeah, our local apples go from red to yellowy bits to greeny bits... not entirely yellow... so yeah, climate change.
