Nope.
Although technically they do...
I'm after the umbrella term, of which those are exceptions.

What do you call something that joins two ropes together?
A knot.

See, if this was real life, I would put on a German accent and curse you in German, explaining how it IS a knot by my standards. And pointless definitions that no-one cares about can get...well - you know.
Oddly, the only German I know is curses...

Nope, you're both wrong. A knot is actually something tied in a single piece of rope.
Joining two ropes together is called something else.
If anyone here ever did Scouts, you should know this. If you did and you don't know, for shame.

There is a limit to how much attention i spend on knots. Apparently, It's three. I have three attentions for Knots.

A "bend".
ie. Sheet Bend.
In Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, who first referred to the teddy-bear forest creatures as Ewoks?

Nobody did. As I recall not once where they called Ewoks in the movie. . .
Which is a Stupid name. It's Wookie backwards. Come on.

Correct, they were never called Ewoks in the movie.
Also how is it Wookie backwards. That would make them Eikoows. ...I'm being too literal again, aren't I?
