What role did Vasili Alexandrovich Arkhipov have in stopping the out break of war during the Cuban Missile Crisis?

If you think it is just something to the power of something, you are wrong. Where the hell did you get 6 from? six sides, six colours. i forgot each would have three sides coloured. and I might have made 2x2x2 = 8. Basically there's a reason I think I've failed maths.

Rocket, it is asking how he stopped war. I don't get how swimming would do that...
I am going to guess that there were some Russians who wanted to nuke something, and he was like 'no way idiots - they'll just hit us back'. And so nuclear war was averted.

I'd said I'd guess - didn't say it'd be a great guess. And swimming could totally stop a war.

He was some commander dude and he was in these other commander dudes. They probably needed a unanimous vote to fire the nuke and he said "nah" and everyone else was like "yah" but he didn't budge.
Savvy?

Close enough. Second in Command of Sub, Commander of Fleet. Need three senior officers to launch Nuke. He said no and convinced the political officer to change his mind.
(They were out of range of both Moscow and the US's radio signals so they actually though the war had already started). He convinced them to wait.
Savvy.
Your turn.
