The correct spy said three.

For every digit the guard says, the solders say three - 12 has two digits, so the solder said six (3+3)  cheesy

Here's an easy one...

I run over fields and woods all day. Under the bed at night I sit not alone. My tongue hangs out, up and to the rear, awaiting to be filled in the morning. What am I?

hehe me again ^.^
and another pretty easy riddle

A man was found dead in his study. He was slumped over his desk and a gun was in his hand. There was a cassette recorder on his desk. When the police entered the room and pressed the play button on the tape recorder they heard: "I can't go on. I have nothing to live for." Then there was the sound of a gunshot. How did the detective immediately know that the man had been murdered and it wasn't a suicide?

If It was suicide, the tape recorder would still be recording?

OH OH

If it was suicide, the police would've had to rewind the tape to get to the message and gunshot.

During the Holocaust there is a Jewish man who has managed to evade the Nazi soldiers for many months. He has finally made it to the border of Germany, but to his dismay, there is a massive river blocking his way with only one bridge over. The bridge was under Nazi control and any person caught trying to exit Germany will be killed on the spot, but any Polish person caught trying to enter Germany without the proper papers will be sent back to Poland. There is only one guard on this bridge and he only checks the bridge for people every three minutes. Now, no matter how quickly any person may run, this bridge will always take exactly five minutes to cross. How can the German man exit Germany without being caught and killed?

ANSWER THE $#@*ing QUESTION!

« Reply #731 on: December 02, 2011, 03:53:50 AM »

He walks half way up the bridge then turns around and tries to get back into Germany. That way the guard assumes he is a Pole and sends him into Poland. Which is historically still a pretty bad call as that's where a significant number of the concentration camps were.
