Who would I be... If I'd never met Alex Rider?

I don't think so; there wouldn't really be much point... I also imagine the gentleman looking WAY different from Yassen

The Gentleman only appeared once, and only mentioned again in CT, but when being mentioned by McCain, he was talking about years ago something the Gentleman did. So actually there is no mention of him after Point Blank.

@DON-How do you know the Yassen book will stop at Stormbreaker?

Maybe Yassen's diary will be the new book!  I mean I've never seen AH write in the first person format , but it would still be way cool.

Anthony said many many times, long ago when he planned to write Yassen earlier. So as far as we know, it still ends at Stormbreaker. He could change his mind though. He has made it clear he ONLY cares about Yassen's childhood, not anything that happens to him as an adult.

But that's when he begins to assassinate independently!

Yassen won't be until 2013...  sad

On Youtube someone asked him about the book and he said " Not until year after next "
He also said it was going to be a very serious book, so I'm assuming little to no humor or anything like that.

I think it should be Yassen's diary. How cool would that be! Think of how many secrets he could have. When AH writes using words like "he" or "his" you don't always know the person is thinking.

It is supposed to be his diary...but I don't know if it would be written like that or not.

Personally, I don't look forward to there being a book about Yassen. I like how he seems to be a rather mysterious character in the series.

Under normal circumstances that would be fine. But he was such an important character that it would be stupid to keep him a mystery. Now, if it was a book about the Gentleman or something I would agree, but Yassen is much to important to keep his life a mystery.

I actually don't care at ALL about anything in the book pertaining to Yassen  cheesy
Which may seem kind of weird because the book is about him but I'm only buying it for mentions of other characters pasts that may be in it. I could care less about Yassen.

I think the book about Yassen might be a little bit like the last "The Power of Five" books - Necropolis. I think the book will have some few diary - kind of- chapters. I don't know if it's gonna be Yassen or John Riders "diary chapters" but I think we'll be able to read some more secrets about/from John, Ian and Yassen.

The text I wrote now might look a little "unsure", but I am sure in one thing :
"Whatever AH decide to wrote and however he decide to wrote the book I am sure he will do a good job. And I am sure the book will be very interesting to read).

(Again sorry my bad english).

Yes, it will be a diary from Yassen's point of view. Not confirmed but hinted at.
