I know. Usually AH doesn't put anything big into short stories though. I really hope the series will finally have some closer.

Hmm perhaps, but it's unlikely - certainly it would be nice to know what happened next, but usually the short stories are unrelated to the bigger picture of the series.

Ya. I hate that! I just hope he at LEAST makes the short story take place AFTER Scorpia Rising.

I am just starting to read the short stories. So far I have only read the one that describes how ASH killed John and Hellen. And that was pretty good!

i was personally quite dissapointed with the ending as the spy is in him it is impossible for him to stop unless he has died unfourtunatley.... also what happens to him if it doesn't work out with Sabina it was kind of a bad place to end up maybe he could have moved in with his friend from school. Other than that i found the bok enjoyable and it had some good twists although a awesome twist would have been that Yassen was still alive and actually was his father a kind of Star Wars thing

I don't think she is dead because Julius said "I played a trick on you." and the footage was black and white until the explosion , so it could have been edited. I am confused. undecided

I would agree with that - you make a good observation there, but I don't think that AH would leave a big thing like that hanging - after all, that was the last book in the series  sad (apart from Yassen, that is  smiley)
So yeah, I'm pretty sure Jack's dead  cry

Or maybe AH reads fanfiction and is giving the fanfictioners a way to make Jack alive again by finding loopholes, lol.
I read the short story, it's not major. It has the guy who points a gun at him while he's talking to Yassen at Sayle's place.

Of course the short story is after Alex's third mission. I still haven't read it! Stupid apps!

Well being probably your oldest reader I have not yet got to the end of the book, however I am concerned that Alex rowing feat on saturday allowed him to go from Hammersmith to Hampton Court, I would suggest the crew would have been more than fatigued by a journey of such distance, having, you've guessed been on the tideway with both fours and eights I reckon you have gone a step too far. Hammersmith to Kew okay, what about locks on the way , definate no no, not your usual, but nevertheless an enjoyable read as were all the other books. Having an eleven year old son who decided dad should read something exciting, thank you Ted
