It was so sad that Jack died but it had to happen at some point. I'm still sad though.

It was sad, and she would have died eventually, but in that way?! That's traumatic! cry

Yeah, especially when it went to her thoughts of freeing Alex, and the bit where she was crying... cry cry

Call me crazy (as I know my friends have  grin) But I was ok with Jack dying. As long as it wasn't a spy. And Alan Blunt is still one of my favorite characters... I loved the twist in the final chapter...

I liked the whole story... I suppose you could say I'm slightly obsessed with anything to do with spies... So I was glad when it wasn't a spy who died.

I thought it would be Jack. I was sure it would be when she agreed to go on the mission.

Though I was a little sad, I was mostly VERY happy that it wasn't a CIA or MI6 person.

I didn't like Jack dieing,  apart from being very sad i thought it was to much of a predictable twist and we never got to find out what her name was short for! I really wish it had been Blunt... All well.

well i guess i was wrong...

I cried! I thought she might come back at the end, like they staged it and tricked Alex, but no! Cry Jack!!!

You don't really know whether it ended happily though, because at the end it seemed that Alex would never be the same again, even though he 'started' to heal slowly, according to Ed Pleasure.

most people can live with the fact that someone died. it does take ages but they get there eventually.

Still, Jack was the closest person to Alex, and it would be a huge shock, like your whole family dying in one horrific murder by a crazed psycopath.

i dont think that a crazed psycopath is likely to just pop up and kill your whole family.

It was only an analogy for how Alex must have felt - Jack pretty much was his whole family, and Razim was a crazed psycopath!
