This is like the best topic on the board, I love it!

my dad has no interest in any type of fictional book and doesnt like me reading them
he wants me to read knowledgeble books but i just cant leave ar for some
stupid encyclopedia!!

My dad is like that too. When I told him I was reading Alex Rider, he was like, 'Why are you reading books like Alex Rider? You should spend your time wisely.' And every time I tell my mom about one of the books she kind of raises her eyebrows and tries to look interested.
I actually never planned to read the AR books until I came across Stormbreaker at my Library one day when I was bored, needless to say I wasn't bored for long! I read up to Scorpia in a week, and all I could talk about was AR this and AR that. And my sister was like, 'Can you stop talking about Alex Rider??' So when I was in the middle of Eagle Strike, my sister and I were in the car on the way to her work one day and I started reading it aloud (it was the part with the Bull fight

), and she was like, 'This is so awesome!' So she read most of them, not all of them, so I have an accomplice.
