That's why we're all here isn't it.  To talk to people who like to read the same stuff as us.  I guess I am lucky that some of my friends have read the AR series, cause until this year I was the only one.  The thing is talking to people who have no idea what your talking about  is fun because you say something outrageous and there all like "That was actually in the book??" and you can say sure cause you know they'll never really read it.

Really? Why wouldn't you mention it? They'll eat you alive for reading IT or just reading, period? Reading itself I could see...some people don't like it. But there's nothing wrong with the AR series Tongue Harry Potter has more fans than Alex Rider and Harry Potter is ten times more childish. In fact, Scorpia RIsing, in my opinion, has content that should have the book upped to like 13 for age minimum...

I still haven't got the book yet. My stupid mom won't let me go get the book! angry Almost no one I know reads the AR books! The one person I knew moved half way through the year! When he was in my english class I quoted AR and he started laughing because I quoted AR whilethe rest of the class looked confused.

Don't some of the AR books have an age limit?

Alex Rider should be all the rage. Harry Potter is.... Well... Let's just say that I am speechless that THAT can top AR!!!!!!! shocked It is pathetic in comparison and not even realistic. It is true art to make an realistic yet interesting story. I mean, didn't AH say that all the plots were actually possible? OMG- He could turn into a criminal mastermind!!!

NOT TO MENTION, that JK Rowling got published and rich on her first try. AH had to do something like 20 books before Alex Rider which was his first best seller. You could argue that JK deserved it more though. She needed the money bad and I'm pretty sure AH came from a rich or richer family.

True.  Alex Rider is way way way better then Harry Potter.  I will say that both series got so long it began to annoy me.  I will also say that quoting books to people who have no idea what your taking about it also fun.  Some people are so clueless.  tongue

It really annoyed me that the series ended at 9 books...what a weird number. I like series to end at 3, 5, 7, or 10. That is all. Probably just me Tongue With Yassen I guess you could say 10 but whatever.

Lets' talk bout stupid AR people! My sister, for example! I TRY to talk to her, but she has no clue!!! And I don't really want my parents to read the books cos I feel they'd just really annoy me about it!
