Who would I be... If I'd never met Alex Rider?

« on: February 25, 2011, 09:02:05 AM »

I make up little stories about what I think will happen such as:
MI6 think he's dead and Alex walks into the middle of his own funeral and gets shot by a sniper (again) and survives (again)
Stories please!

I honestly have no clue, but after reading the first chapter and AH's blog, I know it's got to be huge. shocked

There's already a topic for SR theories i don't know if this topic is needed...
But i think that Jack will do something against MI6 and get hurt. This will lead to Alex being confused (not sure what might happen in the middle) but at the end he'll fly away with Yassen.
How's that for an unlikely theory? cheesy

I read a theory somewhere that someone said, and I kind of like it, but I HIGHLY doubt it would be in an Alex Rider book. Ah did say it'd be darker than the usual Alex Rider though...and that Alex would do something bad. I was thinking he tries suicide? Notice I say try, I know he doesn't die. Anyway this is what I read...

Alex Rider wants his life back. But when you're the world's most successful spy, there's only one way out. One bullet. One life. The ends starts here."

You get it? One bullet, one life. And AH said that in Scorpia Rising, Alex will get a gun for the first time. It strangely fits.

I still think that would be a bit drastic.

If Anthony is looking a bit more at the psychological side affects it could be possible in the book, but it does seem a bit drastic after all Alex has been through and he always saids he wants a 'normal' life.

Comitting suicide would not help him have a normal life so I still think it is highly unlikey.

Not like Alex hasn't had suicidal thoughts before though.

Maybe he just will realize that he can't run away from the world of Mi6.

hopefully. he seems to deny every mission he gets in every book and that gets a bit boring because you just know that he's going to end up doing it. grin

SEREISLY! Here too! What is up with you and the suicidal thoughts! I already told you the only reason Alex had suicidal thoughts was because he thought his father was an assassin! If you thought your Father was an assassin my guess would be that you would have suicidal thoughts too!

And I already told you that something happens in this book that is WORSE than that, so look forward to it Tongue

And also. I think I've mentioned this before. But everyone sees the chapter name called "Selket"? I'm a big fan of AH chapter name taste in this novel. Selket is the Egyptian Goddess of healing stings, particularly that of the scorpion. Doesn't that just give INCREDIBLE meaning to that chapter? I theorize that that is where the "ends with hope" part will come in. Look at it this way, Scorpia is probably responsible for whatever happens that is "worse than death" to Alex. So in this chapter, something good happens to even it out and make the book end with hope, thus healing the sting of the scorpion. I will LOVE if this theory comes true.
