Oh bugger. I forgot that Perth was a different time zone =S

Well put it this way peds, some friends and I decides to drive to the end of the world the other night, which is 2-3 hours out of Hobart.... We left at 10pm =D

Wallabies appear to be particulary suicidal at 3 in the morning, judging by how many I dodged.
But hey, I still haven't killed anything yet!!!

Spot on KR!! the 2nd character was kanji, which sometimes doesn't show up on all computers.

Where's the fun in quoting if you can't spice it up a little? =P

I know about the 3 different alphabets in Japanese...Kanji is the one for foreign words is it not?

Also, I would like to wish all the candidates running for the election good luck, but I would like to tell everyone to VOTE PEDRO FOR BP!!!

There are three different alphabets in Japan... Goes to show how much i know about the world...
I only know intereting facts through playing computer games (how sad is that!).
Though (through school) i learnt that the Japenese used to buil thier houses from bamboo and paper because of the earthquakes.
It sounds stupid but they didn't weigh much so you couldn't be killed by a collapsing house and you could build one within a day so...
Somehow we learnt this in Drama while disscussing Braveheart, i don't remember the details of the conversation but our teacher can be a little off topic at times...

Lol Pedro!!! Kanji is Chinese characters. The Japanese used them before they created their own writing system, and now use a combination of all 3.  Katakana is for foreign words xD Hirigana is the main one.
Hiragana and katakana are like the English alphabet, the letters don't actually have a meaning, they just represent a sound, and the combination of sounds have a meaning. But each kanji character has a meaning, and the sound changes depending on the combination of kanji.

That's the easiest I can put it =s

If it makes you feel better, Scorpiash, I actually lived in japan and I'm only just learning that fact about the houses haha!!! we even spent an hour discussing the earthquakes!! Maybe they mentioned it and I just didn't understand them.....
Come to think about it, I don't even know the word for bamboo....

たけ? According to my phone dictionary, you're right =)

Don't worry MC, learning a language is a headache most of the time. Because I use my Japanese so much, I sometimes speak Japanese instead of English without realizing that not everyone can understand me.

At work the other day, I told my boss that I had to go to class, and I would be back later.
He stared at me like I had an extra arm. While I looked at him like he was an idiot.

MC...if you know some French...Italian is not that hard to pick up...and I mean not that hard at all...The grammar is all the same. Italian is easier than French though...because the way you say things is they way they look...

It is so hot here in perth...and I have to walk home from school today...and I know it will be about 35 then...  cry it will hurt...But then I do have a lovely pool.

...you're talking about the weather, aren't you? AREN'T YOU?! JUST ADMIT IT. YOU'RE TALKING. ABOUT. THE. WEATHER.

Baka - wow. That's awesome. I wish I could speak Japanese without noticing rolleyes

And in other news:

I have just bought a new bed cover. It's a brilliant shade of orange with funky pattern on it. I have also recently purchased a new phone and hat. My phone is pink and totally clashes with my orange room. But I have four SillyBandz on my arm in blue, orange, pink and purple, and they don't seem to clash.

My favorite hoodie is purple. My favorite sweatpants are red. My favorite schoolbag is red. My favorite notebook is bright blue.

The conclusion of all this?

Today I realized I /really/ like bright colors. I think they make me happy. I believe it's a passing phase. But it makes my life feel dapper.

So... what makes you guys' lives feel dapper?

(Don't mention food. We all know food makes life dapper-er.)

Bright colours are awesome.

The colour yellow makes my life feel awesome. What phone have you got Bingo? I'm quite addicted to the smell of Olbas Oil. And I have just bought a new notebook. It has elephants on it.

I got the fabulously bright pink Nokia C3 xD

Say it's a Blackberry wannabe and DIE.

Hmm. I'm addicted to the smell of vanilla and fruits and things... I do think smells play a huge role in dapper moods. My room smells of french fries at the moment. I need to fix that.

The smell of vanilla is nice, i like vanilla. I also like the smell and the colour of peppermint. I don't know why but i find them both extremely relaxing. I also like writing, that makes me feel dapper too.

Speaking of receiving digital appliances, I got a digital camera recently. My dad bought himself a really old complicated one, with shutter speed and all. And so I've been driving everyone crazy taking pictures... cheesy

Why does your room smell of French fries? I know it seems obvious but i just thought I'd ask....
