I hope that it not matt,pedro,scarlett,jamie but i dont mind if scott dies and i hope richard doesnt die i think the story will not be able to end if one of the five die even if they come bk *nightrise spoiler , andy anyway Jamie has already died before so he cant die again and come bk can he  , spoiler end* i just cant wait for the fifth book to come out  |

Well they will all be replaced if they die (well not Jamie) so they wont be down on battle power I think it will be Scott who will die not that i want him to. It will go like this.... Scott will feel really bad for what he did when he was brainwashed so he will try and make up for that by attacking the Old Ones full force first chance he gets but he dies heroicly in battle  |

i really need to reread the books but, i think Pedro's death would impact a lot. i mean he is the healer... if he die, and somehow it happens to take a long time before the future one replaces him, the other 4 could already be dead with battle injuries and so on.
the again it would make sense if Matt die as well, if the leader die, others wouldn't have proper directions to follow and , yeah...

Well if Matt were to die then past Matt would take his place. And past Matt seems to know a lot more about all of this then Matt does. I mean past Matt seems like the better leader so I would really want past Matt on my team.

I don't want anyone to die. But I think it would be okay for Jamie to die. I don't see why everyone likes him so much. I really hope Richard doesn't die though because he's awesome!

Yeah I quite like Richard. We see quite a lot of him, but he isn't a main character. I'd like to see him play more of a part.

I think Richard will play more of a part in te next book as he will have to look after Scarlett. Also he has his Inca knife that he will supposedly regret having.

Yeah but that's a bit cliche - I mean it's a bit like Snape and Dumbledore all over!! But it could happen Gypo, I don't dispute that. |

after reading on another discussion about what the symbol on Matt's shield means, I actually believe he will be the one to die.
The symbol on past Matt's shield is a fish and after researching for myself, i also came to the agreement that Matt.......is going to sacrifice himself. If you want to know what the fish symbolises.......research! (symbolizes a famous God/Prophet OR.................some pagan godess?) Like i said, research about fish that represent a god and you will know.
