Eh, I's rooting for him being evile! As much as I love him, I can actually see him being evile for some reason.

I think Crawley still has a little bit of evil inside him. And maybe in Scorpia Rising, his bad side will just show up.

Haha, I don't know how others feel, but I think that assuming that Crawley is evil is evil... (please mind my sentence. a small pun is intended grin) Well... I don't know but I am a little biased towards him. Actually one of my favorite characters. And double agent, I wonder.... He seems to me like he is a man who can't multi-task.  cheesy But I think we can't deny that he may have had a evil past.  evil Probably typical bad guy turned good example.  tongue

I always thought I knew what Crawley did at MI6, I thought it was like paperwork and stuff but Alex specifically mentions that Crawley is the only person there that he doesn't know what specific job he does.

True, DONO! All we know is that he was injured and could no longer be a field agent. We don't actually know what he does! Maybe he does something super secret!

Haha. I posted somewhere else that I have a theory that Blunt would die and that Jones would replace him. But maybe Crawley would replace him? Please forgive me, I am letting my imagination run wild again! grin

Haha you called me DONO xD But yes, it's kinda strange that he seems to have no purpose. I think Jones would still take over. I think Crawley holds a piece of the puzzle to Alex's past, since he knew his father.

Er, sorry! I have a habit of giving people nicknames. I blame the forum Refia because we all got nicknames there.

I agree that Jones would take over. *beat* JONES! *mutters something about White Collar* But what could there be about Alex's father that Alex doesn't know or needs to know, do you think?

Hmm I don't know...but I'm one of the people who likes to theorize about what Rothman was saying before she died, the whole: There's something about your parents you should know. Most people think it was about Ash and how they killed them and that does seem likely but I like to think there are more secrets to come about his parents.

John Crawley's always been a sketchy character in the books. Kind of like a less ruthless Blunt.

I have a very random idea. What if Crawley was responsible for what happened to Jones' kids? After killing/capturing them, he might have joined MI6 out of guilt...

Just an idea! Smiley

Not a bad idea actually, Tiger! I hope we do find out what happened to Jones' children in SR.

If we don't find out then that's a major plot hole. Authors should never mention something like that if they don't plan to follow up on it. On another note, I had the ambition to write AH a letter. I didn't want to bombard him with questions so I only put 1 at the end of the letter, and I asked if we'd see anymore back story with Crawley in the last book. It'll take quite a while to get a reply though.

Well there's a thread somewhere here that says how to contact him? I got his publishers address and they send it to him. He only replies back to some though, you have to be lucky. He wouldn't have time for everyone after all.
