Yeah, but the funeral would bring back the memories, and also Jack's parents would be there, which would make him feel even guiltier.

Hmm. I've heard of that, but I think it's more for the family than anything. I don't think Jack's parents would want Alex there since he's practically the reason she's dead. I hate to say it but it's probably true. Poor Alex. Poor Jack. Poor me.

Yeah I guess. Maybe Tom would go with Alex and Jerry would come along to try and console them before they got too upset and started getting violent and stuff. I think they'd probably have a cover up like... There was a terrorist attack and they blew her up because she was American and the Secretary of State was doing an anti-Brit speech, etc.

Yeah but how would they explain away the 'no body' thing? And Alex and Jack WERE in Cairo at the time someone tried to kill the Secretary of State, and Jack's parents wouldn't have been able to contact her a few days beforehand
