Well, if you ask me, that topic is just for discussing the best parts and all whereas here is the place to debate. grin

I chanced upon it by accident as well xD I was like, "Well, let me lock this ..." then "Whoa! Merge button!" xD

On teh subject of torture: i think a decent torture scene livens up any book, depending on how painful it is for your imagination. That said, I'd prefer it to be brief and to a character I don't really like. When it happens to a character you do like you know the rest of the books are going to be all angsty about it.

Which is why I love Alex. He gets over it so admirably.

Ya I agree with Bingo, but torture can't happen to characters you hate every time. I just wouldn't want Jack for example to get tortured. Alex is fine as long as it's reasonable.
