I'm pretty good at mouthing off to people my age I don't like. I think I could mouth off at an adult that was trying to kill me, it wouldn't make any difference if he was going to kill me anyway. But Alex is so clever. It takes me a while to think of comebacks, and by that time it's to late to say them.

Yeah, me too. It's like, a day later, then a comeback suddenly pops up into my mind!!!  smiley
HAPPY ALEX RIDER'S BIRTHDAY!!! Poor him, Jack won't be there this year... Do you think he'll even bother to celebrate properly? I expect the Pleasures will insist on dragging him out to a restaurant.

Sweet sixteen!

I don't know if they have that show in Britain, but here in America (now home to Alex Rider grin) it's about these bratty kids whose parents spend like a hundred thousand dollars (double that if you use pounds!) on there sweet sixteen party.

Alex isn't a bratty kid, but I just wondered if anybody else thought of it...
