i don't know bout you guys but i love alex rider i reckon he is the best and ah is the same but the way he stoppe alex was too flat
i think it should have been more dramatic not just someone saying he must stop beccause the spy is built in him he won't stop adn niether will mi6 it  should be that something happened so that he couldn't anymore

uhm, well the only way that could happen is if he was exposed to the media or if he died so i think i would rather have him end the series like alex marries sabina they live happily ever after blah bablah rather than a really depressing ending

If you are thinking that its already over, Spygirl, then I think that you're wrong.  If you're talking about how you think it will end then I kind of agree with both of you.  I think that Alex actually likes being a spy and I think that he will choose to be a spy forever.  However, he can't just quit being a spy if thats the case.  he will have to die or be constantly on the run from everyone or something.  But I would prefer that he lives happily ever after maybe

I for one, loved the ending. Alex has been exposed to the prime minister, and (if you remember) he had told Blunt that Alex was not to be used in anymore missions. So, I think they had a good ending of the entire series, because everyone knew something like this was coming. AH needed to end this series at some point, and although it wasn't the perfect way, it at least was a good way.

huh why do people think it is the end to the series!?  IT IS NOT THE LAST BOOK!  that wouldn't have even been a good ending to the series and there are still books to come!  When AH ends the series I think we'll all know for sure because he'll probably make it so epic-ly awesome that we'll have to make up new words like epic-ly to describe it!

But remember, the prime minister told Blunt he couldn't use Alex anymore. The prime minister is probably higher authority than Alan Blunt (sadly  embarassed)

but half of the missions Alex goes on, he doesn't do specifically for MI6 he does them because he feels that he needs to and he gets himself into it all.  and AH said that there were more to come so I assume there will be more

I can't disagree with that! You're probably correct. There will probably be more.

I agree. Mr. Blunt annoys me, but I have to admit, he's the best person to run MI6

Yeah (Welcome to the board, Morningleaf!)

Personally, I thought the ending of Crocodile Tears itself was great. It's suspenseful. I agree, if the entire series ends with Alex never doing spywork again, maybe I wouldn't like it =/ But the ending of CT itself wasn't too bad ...

It was a good ending but he hasn't ended it yet because technically alex hasn't reached his Fifteenth birthday yet he still has a few more days yet so there still should be another book or two if we are lucky.
He should definately marry sabina at some point but alex may choose not to so he doesn't put her in danger.
