The Thief Lord

Ehhh, well, ohh yeah, the Thief Lord.
Well it's about two orphans who run away from their aunt. And where do they go the magical land of Venice!!!
They meet the Thief Lord, Scipio, who takes them in. What happens??? Well the answer's in the title, The Thief Lord. They steal lots of stuff , buy a big house with an ocean view and live happily ever after. I wish!!! What really happens??? I can't tell you you'll have to read the book!!!

I read this book like a billion years ago and loved it!  I need to re-read it.  I don't remember what happens really.

woah, I just found out that they made a movie about it.

Although in the book, they are all Italian, in the movie they are English. Barbarossa was not how I would imagine him. Guess who plays Scipio... My hero Rollo Weeks.
P.S. The movie was really good, I watched it, like 10 times in the first week I got the DVD

yeah i read this when i was in grade school (high school now) and loved it i might consider re-reading but i think its in storage

Hey, I read it too- and yes, it was great! The ending was so unexpectedly- well- good- and a bit sad, right? Gotta love Scipio- remember what happens to him? The detective'll take care of him though-eh? What were the names of the other two main boys, by the way? And the girl? Who else was in the theif group? I read it about 2 years ago, I guess, and I can't remember all the details. Barborossa was despicable by the way- he was totally out of it! He never learned, did he- not even in the very end!!

The two main boys are called Prosper and Bo(Boniface). The girl is called Hornet. The other orphans are called Riccio and Mosco. And of course there's Scipio. Ohh, wait I'll post pictures of them from the film.

This is Prosper(dark hair) and Bo(blond hair).

This is Hornet.

This is Riccio.

This is Mosca.

And this is Scipio.
