i think Jamie has a crush on Scarlett!!!! so like Scar will be walking in a dessert and she will pass out, and Janie and Scott will find her and here just read this.  "Silence.  That is all Jamie got, inside and out.  For some reason Scott didn't want to talk.  That's when they saw her .  It was Scarlett Adams the 5Th gatekeeper.  "Scarlett!!!", Jamie cried out.  something inside of Jamie must have given him extra strength, because he didn't run to her he sprinted toward her without looking back once."

I think there is a topic about Scar and Jamie having a thing....I  don't know what it's called, not being too interested in that aspect  *whistles for someone to add a link*

I must say, i liked the writing though. really dramatic filled our beloved "angst".

On the whole Jamie and Scott being separated thing, I think they should be separated. It will make for a  far better book if Five kids are all on different parts of the world, with no way of knowing where the others are, than three being tossed apart, and two being together, coming to terms with what has happened. Unless those two are Matt and Scott-the tension between them will make for some fun reading.

If Scott and Jamie are separated, it also gives room to re-include the whole "old-ones using him against the others" angle. It would be so much better, and more effective, it the four don't see it coming. But Scott being whisked away by the old ones with Jamie as a witness....not so much fun.

Don't worry zak, i understood the whle thing and have to agree with you. As you said the tension between scott and matt would a nice twist with the gatekeepers fighting amongst themselves

I was also thinking: Scott and Pedro seemed to get really close in Book 4. And without Pedro to help heal himj, Scott may go totally whacky. OPerhaps the Old Ones can use this to split the five; You jknow, get the Matt to suspect that Scott is with the Old Ones again, Jamie sides with Scott, Pedro feels Matt is wrong, Scar agrees with Matt ( why, I don't know. It just might be ebtter if matt had some company when, If ) the whole thing keads to the five hating each other's guts, and not wanting to work togethre even though it means the Old Ones win...

that waould actually make a really good section of the book. It would be really good for scott to have to prove himself to matt or all of them turning against matt (a bit like at the end of Torchwood series 1 when the whole team turn on jack fo those who have seen it) what would be a really good but sad twist is if scott and jamie end up not liking each other due to scott going wackie

I really do think Scott needs a time to prove himself... Or the opposite, whatever. He needs something, 'cause we know he's not fully.. in with the Five, he's a bit on the fenceish (or so we've seen)so he needs a time where he can stand up and either jump to a side or lose his balance and fall...

well i think Scarlett is going to die with the wound she got before they went through the door and then Scar is going to meet up with Jamie and will be like ,"Sapling" and he'll be like "Scar". And then the five will defeat the old ones.
I hope that it's written in Scott's point of view as well as everyone else because we never have!

Yea, that would be nice. No accidentally-killing people with his power. How sad . . . Plus, I feel like crying when he and Matt argue.

I hope he doesn't get into any more fights with Matt... they're both to cool for that >= Although, the tension may lead ot some awesome stroylines... especially if there is a traitor in their midst... would Matt suspect Scott straight away? (It would probably be the one you'd least expect... so for me it'd be Pedro  )
