if one of the five ends up as a traitor who would it be?

Matt is the leader, and since he's got criminal records, maybe it could be him. But he changed, so I think he isn't the traitor...

I must agree with Alice Rider on this one.  Matt wasn't the best of people in the beginning of this book series, but he really has changed on account of becoming the leader.  Becoming a leader can make or break a person and this has defiantly made Matt.  Matt would never go against the group unless it was out of absolute need, and that would be very bad indeed.  Anyway that's my thoughts.

Maybe he'd pretend to switch sides and serve the Old Ones so he can have a good crack at them? o.o

Im have to say pedreo because of several reasons. First because of his power healing..... That's it just healing I mean compared to telekinesis, mind control and containing the weather healing sucks. Maybe he might be jelious of of the others powers and that might drive him to betrayal. Secnd is his past. He's been used to being by himself for ever so being with other people might overwhelm him.

yeah and pedro would want to separate himself from the 5. i totally get that and i like the idea a lot.

and with scott and jamie, they had each other and scott wouldn't willingly betray jamie or jamie wouldn't willingly betray scott

Good point... 
And one more thing: Pedro doesn't speak fluent English like the rest and with Professor Chambers dead, nobody can help him translate.
Maybe he just starts to talk Spanish and then the others keep misunderstanding what he really wants to say and then makes him go mad and leave! o.o

Once again I have to agree with the thought of Pedro as the traitor.  There's the language barrier, which can be a big breaking point.  As well as power hunger, cause who knows the Old Ones could offer him unlimited powers then the 5 would be in a really bad position.    Healing is a really cool power, but once again compared to the others it's nothing.  Who really knows???

If you ask me, healing is better than the twins' powers. I have to admit though, Scarlett and Matt's powers are just so awesome! 

You see, if they're hurt, Pedro can heal them. But if Pedro isn't there, they could die. Maybe the Old Ones would bribe him or hypnotize him or something.

Anthony Horowitz said one of them would end up as a traitor, but he didn't say if that person would betray the 5 on either his own free will or get hypnotized by someone else.

i think one of the twins is more likely to crack...wasn't one of them taken and hypnotized?...and because they both have a mind link with each other, the old ones can use this to launch a secret mind attack... just a thought.

I think like alice ride said that they wont go over by free will but might be hypontized or something like that
