Major Yu tells Captain de Wynter that he knows Alex, which is fine but he also says "our paths have crossed once before."

Qustion: did Yu and Alex EVER meet before the ending of SNAKEHEAD? I didn't think they met directly.

Yu could have been at the fight or one of the Scorpia agents who escaped at the end of Scorpia.

I think it's most likely he means, Alex and Scorpia (and so, Yu) have crossed paths (epically Wink) before. Not that they've met personally.

i think it was when he killed Julia Roman in scorpia but it was indirectly.so personally they have never met face to face till snakehead.

I dont know what to say about Major Yu i just started Snakehead yesterday and already Major Yu seems like someone's grandpa instead of being evil but after reading how he's planning on taking down Reef Island I think he's nuts.  tongue

Well i just finished Snakehead awhile ago and i gotta say I'm well and Truly stunned! I didnt expect Alex's godfather Ash to be working for Scorpia that just shocked the hell out of me. I thought a godfather was someone you could trust but in Alex's case i guess not and after Alex learned it was his own godfather that put the bomb on the plane that killed Alex's Mom and Dad. I felt sorry for Alex but I also felt sorry for Ash he didnt want to put the bomb on the plane but he was forced too. In some way Alan Blunt and MI6 had a hand in that mess.  cry Although it was a nice surprise to see Sabina again.
