but there are things in the books that say that he's currently 14. The first one that comes to mind for me is that assassin's creed 2 is what he wants for his birthday.  However, I also remember him having a gameboy color in stormbreaker while he is also 14 (because I had one at the same time the book came out! grin ) and it was meant to look like something a 14-year-old boy would have (aka not an almost retro gaming system).  So basically its just a big mess up kind of because his birthday is always changing years to keep the world he lives in relevant.  So (for right now at least)  his birthday is February 13, 1995 (a monday for those who were wondering [his 14th was on a Friday though]).
Another example I can think of is how he got an Obama hat from Jack in CT.  But I couldn't use that one for my reasoning because I'm a video game nerd tongue

I hadnt thought of it that way. But that's a very good point... he's like, the perpetual teenager! O.O (Oh and I LOVED peds theory about his birthday being on the 29th of Feb, btw!!!! that was SO funny!! would have been classic!!)

Yeah! The series woulda been alot longer, for one thing! cheesy

Actually, timeline wise, Alex would be 22. But we all know that's just glitches ... because AH wrote the series over so long, i suppose when the first book was published it made sense, but around ten years later with Alex still the same age, i mean ...!!

it's pretty confusing! because in scorpia it mentions that he was born in 1989(or something close) and if it's based on him being born in 1995 that means he's in the same year group as me!

from what i understood, there is only about a week left until his birthday. And i remember hearing that when Alex rider reaches 15, that is the end of the books. cry from what i heard, there are supposed to be 2 more, but then how can  you write 2 books with the time span of a week? ( i know one of them is supposed to be about yassen, but what about the other book?)  huh

man, how could it not be in the UK version. I read the USA one, but I never read UK version, but even so...Anthony Horowitz is from UK, why would he sell the end only to USA?
by the way, if USA got the birthday version then what is the ending for UK version?
