Sorry dear, but my post is over there -->

« on: October 26, 2009, 03:25:59 AM »

Following on from the topic here: http://anthonyhorowitz.com/msgboard/index.php/topic,4687.0.html.

On a slightly different note, I watched John Tucker Must Die this evening. It was on the telly and I'd never seen it before. It was quite funny but the end was predictable, as always.

I watched that... i didn't really like it though and as you said WAY too predictable. Also NOBDOY is gonna comment about my propensity to watch chick flicks. It happens when i'm really nored and some like 'Hitch' are pretty damn funny!!

Ooh, I've recorded that! I was going to watch it on Sunday... and then was too tired (seriously, for the first time in years I was in bed before 10! I just read for about 2 hours..) And then was going to today... but was too busy. Hopefully tomorrow though xD

Nored? Is that like gnawed? do you have a hamster? I hear they have teeth.

haha i think he meant bored. the n and b are next to each other.
John Tucker must die is about this guy, john tucker obviously, that basically has multiple girlfriends or something. and this one girl found out because he took them all to the same place, then she tells them all, they decide to try get revenge by playing all these pranks on him to make him unpopular or something.
I havent watched it since it came out. so that might not be entirely corect.

I watched about half of it before i changed channels. It was too boring and unimaginative.

Heh heh I was wondering when we were gonna get busted... 51 pages, nice Cheesy

Bleh. That movie looks so... formulaic. And I hate (hate hate HATE) people being humiliated in a high school setting. Teenagers humiliating other teenagers. Even really deeply nasty jerks and jocks. I just hate it.

Ah ha ha - 'airhead movies' should be an official genre.

I was just trying to think of really solidly GOOD chick flicks and was wondering if anyone's seen Get Over It?? AWESOME XD XD classic. And Ten Things I Hate About You is brilliant... but much more well known...

Oooh, 10 things and Get Over It have both been my favourite films in the past. But wait, Arrow, don't be against air-headed teenage films! They're great! In a bad way, but still xD.

Ooh, I think Pretty Women is quite good actually.

Dee: Yeah, Kirsten Dunst and the musical thing (Midsummer Nights Dream)

I've seen Mean Girls, but I dont even slightly remember it. Im always missing and/or failing to get references to it. Lol.

Yeah, Get Over It is the Midsummer Night's Dream one Wink 10 Things I Hate About You probably has a message cos it's based on Shakespeare too hahaha. Taming of the Shrew.
