Also... HOW HAVE I NOT SEEN TINTIN YET?! HOW DID IT NOT WIN SIX BILLION OSCARS?!

The Hunger Games was good. It could have been better, but it was really, really good. I'm glad that they made it a bit more serious and toned down than a typical badass-action movie, because that's not what it's meant to be, really.

EDIT// eh, the article was okay. It's not that funny - seems mostly like mocking for mocking's sake. But maybe it's because I actually like the Hunger Games.

You actually dared cracked? I only read it during holidays...which are now...

The other Speilburg film of the summer, War Horse, is also fantastic. Me and a friend both watched it on the plane over here to France (am on school trip /exchange thingo) and we both almost cried, which is something amazing for two manly people such as us to admit...

War Horse... I've got it lying around on my laptop... it doesn't look tempting, though, to be honest. I'd sworn off horse movies after Sea Biscuit...

Also, I dared Cracked. Fortunately all the suggestions seemed boring so I avoided.

One movie I watched recently (and so did Cait!) is Fight Club (am I breaking a rule here? Am I not? Ah, screw it). It was unexpectedly good. It was a bit boring at first, and it's definitely unusual, but I loved it.

I saw Coco Before Chanel recently. It was pretty good.

I have seen love actually. The only decent film that uses the structure it basically invented. Valentines day and that other one...they are terrible...
