Well I think its sorta overrated but I read the book, I have to say it is good for a book to movie conversion. Funny how they mess up all the pro action fantasy ones yet the vampire love story becomes a big hit...watching new moon in a few days...let's see if they make a slip and mess it up (and the fans suddenly hate edward cullen and fall inlove with Percy Jackson and the world ends DA DA DUM)

Speaking of Percy Jackson, I hear the movie is coming out next year. Any truth to it? If so...THEY BETTER NOT MESS IT UP!

I can't wait for Percy Jackson....OMG!!!! Its directed chris columbus, the guy who directed hp 1 and 2, so it should be good, but the casting doesn't seem that great. it comes out in february ....12  i think...

Percy Jackson and the Olympians is an AMAZING series..luv the last book the best.

WOOHOO they better not mess it up!

Watched 2012 last week with my fren Jo, LUV-ed it. Especially the russian dude, the father (I have no clue how to pronounce or spell his name) The deep voice was so funny!Like when the boy (who's name I forgot) was like "WOAH its huge" and he said "It's Russian" lol-ed at that part. And Caesar was so cute. Poor Tamara. And Yuuki is the cutest kid ever....I really enjoyed watching it and listening to jo's sarcastic comments.

Yer. Some parts were really funny. In the cinema, he asks Frank "why are you wearing a rabbit suit?". Then Frank says "Why are you wearing that silly man suit?"hahaha (well, I guess you had to be there...) EDIT: Another funny part was when the teacher was complaining about Donnie and said "He wanted to Push a book up my Edit: sorry cant say it.

BTW Bingo... You probably are completely confused because I guess you haven't seen the ending?? Watch it until the end and then perhaps you might get it. But its a big storyline...

I have watched new moon and have changed my mind about twillight mostly because taylor Luatner is sooo hot and makes edward look like paper, I want to see 2012 but I'm not allowed, one pair of my brothers  glasses broken and the whole world goes crazy (long story) I want to watch some good old Christmas movies but the nightmare before Christmas is not showing yet...

Oh, I really want to see that one too. A real Disney-style Disney movie again! Cant wait.
Ooh, I want to see A Christmas Carol too!! SO much. Im going to the movies next friday, I  should see when it's on... tho I also want to see The Time Travellers Wife...

Princess Diaries (one) was on tonight, GOOD TIMES!! lol, such a classic movie - and me and my sister watched it and it's made me want to be a princess... and now I think Im going to get a t-shirt that reads "Forget VAMPIRE - I want to be a PRINCESS!!"
(because, if you dont know, there are shirts that read "Forget PRINCESS - I want to be a VAMPIRE" - but the vampire obsession is starting to REALLY BUG ME - not twilight (thats just gone insane) but the fact that ANY NEW SERIES OF BOOKS THAT COMES OUT THESE DAYS IN THE TEEN SECTION is from the POV of a TEEN GIRL at HIGH SCHOOL and IS FOCUSED AROUDN VAMPIRES!!! Not to mention all the MOVIES and flipping TV SHOWS... *goes nuts*)

But this is totally the wrong thread for that particular meltdown... BOT Wink

eckkkk princess diaries one has been showing SOO many times I've gotten sick of it. (but it is an awesome classic) Why havent they shown princess diaries 2 on tv  cry

Pshaw, Princess Schmincess. When i was growing up, i wanted to a dog.

... i can safely say i no longer hold these ambitions and have changed them to Witch/ Llama/ somethingofequalawesomeness.

To be honest, i did love the Princess Diaries, though. It's alot nicer than the book as a classic, and i enjoy watching 1 &2, which come on TV regularly xD

Also want to see a Christmas Carol ... but i must see the Vampire's Assistant, first! I wasn't even sure it'd come out in Egypt, and i was sure if it did i wouldn't find a single person interested, then i read the ad in the newspaper and *squee*ed my head off. I'm not sure it's in the movie theatre near me yet tho -__-

The good news is i found a girl at school interested! Our conversation kind of went a little bit like this:

Me: Well, actually i wanna see this new movie coming out ... you probably don't know it, it's called the Vampire's Assis -
Mariam: The Cirque Du Freak movie? Oh, i read the first book! I really want to see it, too!
Me: *jaw drops* You - read - Darren - Shan?
Mariam: ....
Mariam: ... yeah?
Me: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *high fives* You're the first person i ever, ever, EVER met here who's read them but me!!!
Mariam: ....
