My New Moon Review Warning Contains spoilers!!
Ok I belive New Moon wqas better than Twqilight movie in many ways. The feel of the movie is better than Twilight ... the scenery a bit less bleak, the vampires less pale more beautiful. There's even some sun in the Italy scenes! I loved the birthday mpasrty scene, the room looked nice, but not as i imagined it (i.e it looked to me like Alice had been lazy decorating), the acting was good thouigh, especially Jackson when he tries to attack Bella. The one thing i hated was 'Bella's "visions" of Edward. They werent really doing it for me. For a teenager, this guy seems awfully lifeless, like even he can't believe he's doing this, he looked to me like a bad quality cardboard cut-out. The volturi were amazing in the flim, they seemed incredibly simnister to me and Dakota Fanning was excellent as Jane. I cant say i expected that littlew fight scene but i loved it anyway. New Moon was darker and funnier than Twilight. The characters were (mostly) relatable and dynamic, and the action riveting. In my opinion Kirsten Stwarts acting was alto better than it was in Twilight, i felt the way she potraed bellas feeling for Jacob was good. Chris Weitz did an awesome job directing and in my opinion followed the story line more closely, I woudn't oppose to him directing Breaking Dawn.
I went and watched it last night and I totally agree..New Moon was definitely more funnier and fast paced than twilight which is scary because (no offense to the twilight elders) I found new moon rather draggy....

And now to give random minor reviews in my friend's opinion  cheesy(if they had watched it)-Taylor Lautner and Robbert Pattinson--in twilight this may have been dif but look at their body....vast difference....TEAM JACOB FTW

Other friend's op: the werewolves ARE SO CUTEEEEEEEEEE and funny

I SAW NEW MOON TODAY!!!! ~Spoilers Ahead ~

Ohkay. Can i first just say: T A Y L O R   L A U T N E R / J A C O B   B L A C K <3 <3 <3

I'm sorry. I'm not a Twifreak. I wouldn't go shrieking "Marry me!" after him ... But seriously. He's hot. I don't think i paid attention to a  thing he actually said ... i mean, it was seriously like me and Tia sitting in the theatre chanting "hothothothothothothothothothothothothothothothothothothothothothot!" ... and then, when we saw him as a wolf "awawawawaw (Me: He looks a lot like Bingo!) awawawaw cutecute awaw!"

And then, when Bella cut her head open and he took off his shirt i was like: HAAAAA!
.... and then it was kinda awkward 'cause the entire theatre heard me and burst out laughing xD

Erm *clears throat* uh. Yeah. The actual review ...

Things i Liked About New Moon the Movie:

- It was definitely better than Twilight. The change of director helped it along tremendously.
- Jacob/ Taylor Lautner.
- You could almost see Kristen and Robert Pattinson attempting to do a better job at acting. They kind of failed, but in their defense the script sucked.
- Jacob/ Taylor Lautner
- They stuck to the book well, as a book/movie adaption it could have been far worse, but it was actually pretty good.
- Jacob/ Taylor Lautner
- The Volturi bit was done well enough. I mean, it could have been worse.
- Jacob/ Taylor Lautner
- The wolves! The first glimpse of them when Bella was crunched up in the foetal position ... man, that was awesome. They were extraordinarily well-done, especially after the cheesy special effects of Twilight.
- Jacob/ Taylor Lautner
- Well-cast. Wolves done well, Emily okay, Emmett awesome per usual xD

Things i Didn't Like About New Moon:

- Edward. I know he didn't have much to work with, but there was something /off/ about him this time. His skin looked powdery and he just seemed ugly and ... urgh. Maybe its in comparison to Jacob?
- The acting in general. It was better than Twilight, but compared to any other movie, the acting in New Moon is kind of mediocre. Yes, even Jacob, though it pains me to admit it. He was the best of them though.
- These sappy Bella bits that just seemed to drag on. Even with Jacob (i don't remember what he was actually saying) but it was boring, "I'll be there for you" cliche sort of crap, that i suppose they had to add because of the book. It was still kinda dull though.

I don't think the Edward proposing thing ruined it at all .. it's in sync with the book and it makes for a mildly amusing ending cheesy

Aro sorta creeped me out in the movie...he was like how I imagined Napolean to be like...but I suppose he is Volturi...

Dakota Fanning acting as Jane...she was good and all tho one thing I really was fascinated by was her eyes...for some reason they seem more..redder than any other vampire's? Any clue why..? Especially when she stared at the camera-it is majorly weird in a cool way. I liked the way they did her eyeliner and eyeshadow..

Oooh yes! Aro did remind me of Napoleon ...

That reminds me, i didn't like the eyes in this one at all. Edward's seemed a bit funny and so did Dakota's ... (she was excellent as Jane as all but her eyes were weird). All the eyes did seem a bit fake to me ...

Yeah in twilight they had contacts and they used computers to get the eyes right. They eyes were weird.
There wasnt anything off about Edward in the movie in my opoin except Bellas flach backs of him(cardboard cut out!!!).
And then, when Bella cut her head open and he took off his shirt i was like: HAAAAA!
.... and then it was kinda awkward 'cause the entire theatre heard me and burst out laughing xD quote]
Lol I was scearimng the whole movie.

I didnt notice Edward's..because during the parts when he was those memory thingies, I was sorta ignoring the eyes and wondering how cool it would be to poke memory-thing-Edward  tongue And I was ok with Dakota's...cause they were sorta cool and glowy, like those glow in the dark things they sell  cheesy

I can't believe I'm actually saying this...tomorrow I am watching new moon again with my friend Jo...since you alrady now what I think of New Moon I'll tell what she thinks :DD Jo likes to make comments on movies we watch together (one of the best people to watch a movie with) So yea...Imma bet RM5 (currency here) that she's gonna say "the werewolves are as cute as Squarley"  cheesy(squarley is her dog charlie..)

They only altered the eyes with computers in twilight when they had close ups, this time I think they overdone it a bit, or they changed the contacts, either way they should of done it the same as twilight, waaaayy better.  Janes eyes were cool though, hers were the only ones I liked I think...
The change of director really did help it heaps, Im glad whoever did twilight didnt do new moon.... was it catherine har..wick? or something like that?

Rob patterson still looks funny without a shirt. He should keep his shirt on at all times.
Basically I agree with everything Bingo said, except I dont know half of what jacob said because I just seemed to zone out when he talked for too long.
Mike being sick was hilarious Cheesy he looked so funny!!!!

LOL at above

The 2nd time I watched it, it was like the people in the cinema were like, dead. Apart from where the beginning where Eric was crying on the Romeo Juliet movie, almost NO ONE LAUGHED. Gosh. Only me and jo and a few other people in the audience were laughing...we must have sounded like complete idiots  grin

after watching it again, basicaly I think although its obvious Kristen Stewart TRIED, most of it seemed like she was just reading it out from the script. But her facial expressions (and basically her entire appearence) was PERFECT for Bella. Just the voice. Needs more emotion...

They really should change back the person who did the eyes and make up for twilight. Other than Janes  it was...*shudders* Edward looked dead...I mean dead-er than he should have. Alice's eyes and the other Cullens looked funny, sorta like the colour for the insides of mars bars XD But I still liked Jane's

Oh and I lost the bet  tongue Jo thought the werewolves were cute but not as cute as her famous Squarley XD

Hiya! I still need to see the film. I'm put off by the lack of Carlisle though >= How does he look in the film? Still TOTALLY smexy?
In the film, have they kept the whole "friendship issues", with Jessica being totally horrible and stuff? And Angela saving the day (For Bella in terms of friends anyway)? And is Eric still Eric/Ben in one?

There is actually more Carlisle than I expected! Yes he still is, besides that whole picture thing, but you need to watch the film to know what I'm talking about. Not much Angela, and Ben IS Eric Smiley
