i second that, Richard going against five would = matt broken + richard very dead + alot of angst + possible murder of one of the five + some complications.

Let's hypothetically say that Richard was dumb enough to go against the Five. Here would be the scenario: In the heat of battle against the Old Ones, Matt asks Richard for help. Richard replies something possibly cheesy, one of the twins rushes over and hits Richard. Matt, shocked asks what was that for. One replies "He's a traitor. Trust me." Matt's shocked, Richard attacks, and Matt makes the difficult decision of killing practically his brother. When all's said and done, Matt is seriously screwed up in the head, but the world is saved.

I think it's a possibilty, but I don;t think he'd do it willingly. I reckon he would probably die though *tries to avoid saying things that I've already said in other topics* since.... well he's against the 5, all of whom have powers. He could be STOPPED and healed later by Pedro... however I think his death is more likely. And... I reckon Matt would probably never be the same again.

I guess some Newbies may have some opinons... I remember I joined just so I could post in ONE topic... but it is pretty dead yes. And it does join up with predictions for the 5th book and Death posts...

yeha but it depends where/ in what book he goes against the five
cos in one of the books it wouldnt really make much of a difference cos he doesnt really have much power and jamie and scott can mind read so it would be pretty hard to fool the five tongue
