Ah damn it, I missed the Chameleon Circuit discussion... I've been listening to their songs SO MUCH.
I will say that as a soundtrack nerd, I LOVE how they've managed to incorporate the soundtrack into their music and STILL make it original. And as Tennant said they have "Pretty Decent Music".
Uhmmm... I'm not contributing much to this otherwise...
Uhmm.... have some new soundtracks that I LOVE AND ADORE AND GET A HUGE ADRENALINE RUSH WITH!
Test Drive - How To Train Your Dragon:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6IBlQj2U5kU
First Class- X Men: First Class (HOW GOOD WAS THAT FILM?!):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sj7jS-zYTtU
Sons of Odin - Thor:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SuxCmC9GRqc
Oh! Oh! Yes! Test Drive is a MUST!!!! I
love
the music from that movie!!!!!
(sorry for the possibly excessive smileys! I can't help it! LOL)
EDIT: The other two are pretty awesome as well, I haven't heard either of them before!
(haven't seen the movies)
.
Another few cool ones are:
Arrival To Earth - Transformers:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4H0JDomv8ac
Time - Inception:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5WOcU7J9F3E
Also the music from, 'The Last of The Mohicans' by Trevor Jones is great! (I haven't seen the movie, just like the music.)

Well I thought you guys may like to hear a song one of my friends sang earlier this year. She is an amazingly talented singer, and I would appreciate it if you 'liked' her video. It's Waking up In Vegas, and if you are going to listen to it, listen all the way through because she warms even more into it later in the song...
Here's the link anyway:

Just a note: I don't actually like the actual version of the song - in my opinion she sings it better than Katy Perry herself!!

She is quite good! I don't really know the original song because I don't really listen to that music but you firends a good singer!
I don't really like listening to movie sound tracks, unless it's a song that's featured in a movie. There quite good to have on in the backround but I think I prefer songs with lyrics, unless I'm writing because then the lyrics distract me.

I actually really like Chameleon Circuit's Journey's End. Simply because of the digs at Russell T Davies. They have throw-away lines at how he manages to screw with canon more than once throughout the album. I can't help but laugh every time I hear them. XD
See, I would like them sooooooo much more if I actually watched Dr Who... as it is, I am a complete n00b where this is concerned. Maybe after watching I'll give their music a go.

Yeah... I'm TRYING T_T
Music I really like these days:
Gravity by Sara Bareilles - i'm making a cartoon music video for it, for Art. Taking ages, but amazing song...
Mad World by Gary Jules
Love, Ire and Song - Frank Turner (I have Madcatta to thank for that...)
Your Song - Elton John.
A rather varied mix, but I'm liking this soft kind of music these days... especially with piano...

I've found myself quite enjoying "White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane. . . I play Suckerpunch and Warehouse 13 (the movie and TV series respectively). It's odd, psychedelic rock isn't really something i get into. . .

I got forced into going to see sucker punch by some friends but I have to say it was quite a good sound track. It fitted the movie and played out the scenes well. As for the others I can't judge as I haven't seen them.

I couldn't actually bring myself to watch Sucker Punch all the way through. I got kind of bored... But I will admit, what I heard of the soundtrack was great.
That, and I just really really love The Eurythmics. Their
Sweet Dreams
is one of my all time favourite songs.

I probably wouldn't of watched it the whole way through if I hadn't paid. I wanted to go and watch Killing Bono and asked my friends to go and get the tickets but being guys they saw the advert for Suckerpunch and girls in short skirts and bought tickets for that instead. Can't say I was impressed with them.

FRANK TURNER. FRANK TURNER WOO! Right now he's playing at Bestical, in the Isle of Wight. My mother is there. So is my brother. My mother also saw him at the Cambridge Folk Festival. My brother also saw him at Reading festival. I love him. They don't mind him.
WAAAH I HAVE TO SEE HIM SO BADLY.
(The song Glory Hallelujah, by Frankie of course, is wonderful and says all I feel about atheism -->
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MbUCzUk84fE&
)
(And If Ever I Stray is wonderful too -->
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0kXAAtTRp3Y&feature=related
)
(And for a snippet of dear ol' Frankie, lyrics to Eulogy -
I may not be a perfect kind of person, I may not be what Mum and Dad had dreamed, But on the day I die I'll say "At least I f-ing tried!" And that's the only eulogy I'll need...
