Rowlings books do have a lot of similarities to AH... but  I think AH manages to get the ideas working better...don't know why... my mum thought ravens gate was an alex rider book when she bought it  cheesy made me smile when she got all confused...

i try to think of similarities between JK and AH and i fail . . . skull snake 1, the same happened to me.

it all depends on what AH books you've read...

at any rate, there's a topic for this in the book forum

I'm not THAT obsessed.... okay maybe i am. Just a tad too much. Anthoy Horowitz, Jennifer Lynn Barnes, and Ally Carter are the best teen spy authors. And Meg Cabot rocks too. Rick Riordan too. Love Ya

It is the lord's prayer=our father

Our Father who art in heaven
Hallowed be thy name
thy kingdom come
T
hy will be done
....

I put in bold which matt hears, only he hears it backwards.  He only hears whispers so he could only make out part of it

At any rate, yes often exorcists and the like like to think that that is common for the occult, just taking christian rights and reversing them, but as a wiccan(a good one), I have to say that that is mostly untrue.  Wiccan and witchcraft as a religion is much older than christianity, and so are their rituals.  in fact it's christianity that used most of the original wiccan rites, and not the other way around.  Those that reverse christian/catholic rites and rituals aren't witches, they're satanists...and that's actually a different thing.  Just thought I'd point that out

This is what I mean with you people should read the topic before asking your quesitons, because it HAS been answered before, on the very first page even

May I say thank you for this topic, this has cleared a lot up for me. I mean, I am a Christian so I say this prayer a lot, and I was always thinking "I can't remember a "y" on it's own" I was always saying it, and just dissmissed it as an annmomus Y.

BTW, I may be a Christian but I'm an open minded one, I don't mind if people say they're Wicca or anything; so can no one flame me or anything (I've experienced that A LOT in the past).
