Okay, here it is. If Jamie was shot and Sapling was killed, was Jamie killed to take Sapling's place? huh I know that Jamie then comes back after he talks with Matt, but still the Indian woman said he was dead and i get that part, his body was there but his mind wasn't. I don't know!!

I don't think Jamie was actually "dead" and i don't think the Shamen meant it in that way either. he was just unconscious.

you can die for a while then come back.. a while is like a few minutes...) and maybe the healer woman managed to bring him back to life. you cant rule out stuff like that in this sort of book.

it's difficult to explain. jamie's physical body was in the tent. however, his spirit or whatever was in the past as sapling. so i guess the answer's a mixture of yes and no.
anyone have any ideas of who's going to die in the 5th book?
