It wouldn't work for humans because the world would overflow with them. One day the eternal jellyfish are going to take over the world.

The jellies aren't taking over the ocean... and with humans who wouldn't die of old age, there's other ways of death and people would possibly procreate less...

That's true, but we don't have any natural predators, not any more. That's the real reason they don't take over the sea. Other things eat them. Humans would probably boom out of control, even if as you rightly suggest people procreate less. You'd have to procreate less because every time you do you'd lose all the hormones that make you want to procreate. Also, it would probably be extremely painful for humans. We're a lot more complex than Jelly Fish.

..I'm not saying this is feasible right now...

And however, we do have more diseases and illnesses than other things. And wouldn't we all get diabetes after two lives or so...?

I don't think they take they're diseases back to infancy. I hope not. . . That would really suck.

And we all have like, Tetanus shots and stuff, so we probably wouldn't get the same illness again. But there'd probably be a point where a lot less people are going to die - diabetes doesn't cause death within the space of a few months (unless you let it get out of control.)
