It seemed like childish prose with adult content,
Oh, it is. But that doesn't mean it isn't a pretty cool story.
...I have nothing to add on the Eragon front. Other than it being relatively easy to portray magical creatures better than Paolini does.
It is very easy. GIVE THEM A PERSONALITY. MAKE THEM MORE THAN ONE DIMENSIONAL beings. Give them identity beyond "I'm an elf"

It's really not saying much when someone can write elves better than Paolini, is it?

No, it is not.
'
Fair enough xD
So, any proper thoughts on what will happen in Inheiritance? (that's what it's going to be called, right?)
I have the strangest feeling the cover will be green.

It's got to be something that will compliment black, since it's most likely that the dragon on the cover will be Shruikan. It may not be black itself, since Glaedr's cover was navy blue, and Glaedr was gold, so...

Well, hazarding a guess here, but perhaps Eragon will accidentally stumble down a rabbit hole, and discover an entire nation of dragons living in secrecy, Ice Age 3 style! And they will try to eat him, but Saphira shall appear to the rescue, and fall in love with the Green Dragon, whom Arya will mysteriously adopt, and to top it all off, Eragon shall lead his newfound army of dragons back to the war, where he will decimate Galbatorix.
Or, it could have something to do with the Heart of Hearts thing.

You know, I don't think it would at all surprise me if your theory turned out to be true. And then I would laugh. And possibly add Inheritence to my 'books-that-should-be-burned-but-I-consider-that-sacrilegious-so-I-could-never-actually-burn-them' list.

Oh dear god. I hope it's not that.. . That would be so bad. . .
Also book burning doesn't always work . . what you can try is burning posters. We Burnt Edward. . .
Personally i have no issue with murdering authors though.

Paolini takes inspiration from Lord of the Rings...not Ice Age 3. There needs to me an epic battle and someone falling into a Volcano at the end!!!

Or, a giant dragon could rise out of the ground and it's mouth would be the volcano.
That would actually be kind of cool.

I would read that book.
It would be ridiculous, but I would read it.

Ditto. If that happened, I would actually go and borrow it from my library rather than sticking with Wikipedia.

Bahahahaha, just call me Paolini's Backup >_>
(I actually might do an Eragon parody sometime, along with the AR, PO5 and HP one. That'd be lulzy.)
