they didn't kill him they locked him away. there is a huge difference. and to answer your quewstion on why tehy are back TO DESTROY THE WORLD AND EVERYTHING THAT LIVES IN IT. i would have thought that both of those were obvious

i know the second bit but what i am asking is HOW are they back, i thought the humans killed the condor aswell, why is it back?

maybe you can't actually kill the old ones. amybe all you can really hope to do is lock them away for a REALLY long tim
