I think he has the ability to make illusions, like to scare them or something and the more the person gets scared of the illusion the more it becomes real and eventually kills them.
He will turn out to be Matts father or makes an illusion to make him beleive that.
He will look like the Balrog out of LOTR but instead of fire it will be black smoke.
(The more people get scared of his illusions the bigger and more powerful he will become.)

I have never though chaos as something phsical, but as like air sort of, light can pass through him but it changes color as it does, he cannot be stabbed with a sword, only the 5 can kill him

i think he picks the size he wants, and he can porbably do pretty much what he wants,
i think he will be solid, and able to fight anyone, just that only the 5 have the power neccesary to stand a chance in combat with him.

I see the big bird and those big old ones (as well as chaos) as air, impossible to kill (unless killed by the 5)

i dont think invulnerable, but too strong to be killed (by anything other than the 5),
as in, others cant kill him but they can hurt him

catta, i was just saying what i think, i am not right i know this, but the image has stayed in there no matter how much i read nightrise. I think dj is right, but the hurting would be on a minor scale

he's not invulnerab;;e because he got hurt by matt. hurt big enough to run away without killing matt or pedro.

oh my bad. i missed that. but im fairly certain he isn't invunerable just strong enough that normal weapons can't do enough damage to him.
