hi, what power do you think would work better in a battle? I think Matt's would be the best, he can use things around him as weopons or shields.

I think Matt has a cool power, in fact, they all do, but in battle I think I'd prefer to have either Scott and Jamie's or Scar's. Mind control seems to be a useful way of defeating an opponent ("Into yourself"), but I suppose it could cause some serious mental problems, kind of like post-traumatic stress disorder (God, I'm such a nerd)... And Scar's would just be fun.

Personally I'd go with Scar's power.
Telekinesis and telepathy are all fine and dandy, but are limited in the sense that the amount of objects/people you can control is limited. Pedro's power is pretty useless in an actual battle, but he is the most important one of the group since he can keep them alive. But Scar...with one well aimed scoop of wind, she can just wipe away all of her opponents in one go. Or some nicely aimed bolts of lightning, just imagine the damage that can do. I'd definitely go with Scar

i don't think that her contorl o he weather is precise enough for it to be an acctual weapon. I'm fairly certain she can't direct exact lightning bolts and if she could that would be exhausting. A summoning storm to attack hong kong didn't workout all that we;l and she'd need something even bigger if she wanted to make a dent in te old ones army. problem is if it gets out of control she is just as likely to end up killing her own soldiers.
matts power if useful in that he can attack people with a normal weapon while at the same time killing someone else with his mind or defending one of his solders. jamie and scott's powers are limited in as RS siad they can't really control all that many people. Pedro is more of a power adapter than anything else. he's not really a healer. so he could make them strnger and aster and that mgiht be the difference that lets the wins...who knows

Yeah, but the summoning of the dragon/typhoon was not consciously done by Scar. She did it in panic, not realising what she'd done until it was too late. In the original, Will was kept unconscious by the Old Ones, which is what caused him to not be in time to hold off the storm. Once Scar learns to control her power the way Matt and the others do, who's to say she is not capable of sending a lightning bolt to just one person?

i agree with all of what everybody is saying. they all have their own way in which they can win a battle. but i think matt would be able to defend himslef better, and defend the soldiers around him better, and cause some serius damage to the old ones

She was able, even though she was in a weakened state, to put themselves in the eye of the storm, so they were safe and the rest of the town was hit. If she can do that, once her powers grow, I'm sure she'll be able to control them better. Really all she'd need to do is just put all of the people on their side together in the centre of a twister that can just obliterate their enemies

i'd assume you also like scotts power then...
and i think telepathy would be the most useful, because you could just make the enemy fight each other, or just tell them all to kill themselves
