yeah he doesn't go crazy. he seems to cold. he's angry but still thinks clearly. which in a way is alot worse. i would hate to have him angry at me

actually the triads dont have much influence, in Tilpa, they probably couldnt find him there either, even if they knew he was in a town called Tilpa, good luck to them finding it.  its so small its not on the map, any map.  It doesnt even get a 50 zone.

in budha history he was not fat to begin with whas he im not quite sure im just speaking out of my knowledge since i like to read up on religons but yeah...... and i think the guy was awesome encluding that sword ladder and that  he will come back in the 5th book some where...each gate keeper in a way have their own non gate keeper friend/follower maybe he will be one of them as well...

I do not think that the sword ladder really exists (I mean, it's so unlikely). However, it IS possible.

Anyway, I think that Han Shan-tung is a great man, highly respected (like some of you mentioned), rather proud, and a guy who loved his clan. I do hope that he will reappear in the 5th book! Can't wait to find out!
