I emailed Mr. horowitz this question and yes I KNOW he is very busy, but I thought I would ask it on the Foyles War section.
I have been very fortunate to have traveled a great deal in my life and have been honored to know some of the greatest warriors of the WW2 era. Germany, England, Japan, and USA.
They have all spoken about the same thing that has occured on the battlefield...
They call them BattleField Angels.....
Many have later seen the very same Angels in Veterins Hospitals...
I was wondering if anyone else has heard these stories..

I think you should keep in mind that a lot of people on here are still very young, and haven't really talked with a lot of veterans from the world wars.
Plus, the foyle's war section is not necessarily the most popular one of this board

Personally I don't even know what you mean

But whats so bad about being evil? Our evil is rather agreeable. We are actually rather pleasantly evil.

Thank you for replying.  I do understand what you wrote.  I have been lucky in my life to have met a lot of veterans  from around the world.  Maybe it is because I do love history.  Whether they are from Japan, Germany or England, or the US.  It does not matter.  Those that were raised in the Christian faith have called them angels, because many just do not know what to call them... so they have labeled them angels...
I just found it odd that whether your the enemy or allies  that something metaphysical occurred  on some of the battlefields...
When watching Foyle's War I was reminded of those stories and if Anthony had come across similar ones.  I know some of the British Soldiers experianced the same thing....
