It was a rather small mention in Ravens Gate but one that caught my eye, when Matt, Richard, and Sanjay are trying to leave the museum and Sanjay goes to get the keys. He stumbles back with his throat cut saying something about "the gatekeepers". It's never really explained why it suddenly got cold everytime something strange happened or why the dinosaurs came to life. I asume it will all be revealed in future books but could "The Gatekeepers" mean all the villagers and the witches? Could it be Mrs. Devrill who caused the lightbulbs to burst and the dinosaurs to come alive? That's my theory but it seems his broad statement of "The Gatekeepers" could be something beyond just Mrs. Devril, prehaps creatures she called on? Just a bit of strangeness to think about.  |

it is strange. But my way of looking at it is that there are going to be five gates, five children hence five gatekeepers. When Sanjay says something about the gatekeepers he's probably known some previous history of what it is all about and the plot will be developed further in the next few books......all we can do is wait.

Oooooooooooh Interesting! Yeah... That's true Gadget, there probably will be 5 gates, and we know there will be 5 children, so there might be 5 gatekeepers  |

I never thought of that but it makes sense. I want to read evil star now but when I looked it still going to be based around Matt so I'm confused as to how we'll get to know much about the other four keepers. |
