I really love the Alex Rider series and I do not want it to end  sad. I have to wait to read the book until the 18th of this month as I am being bought it as a present sad - sucks. Wish I could read it now. I would LOVE to read it now. Scorpia rising is a brilliant name to the book though. I hope it is worth the wait  grin

Am I the only one who kind of didn't like the title of the book? I mean it was okay but I can think of so many better titles than Scorpia Rising...it just, well it does in a way have to do with the story but not that much in my opinion. I think the chapter name, CAIRO STORM would have been an AMAZING title for the entire book.

No, I don't think so. Scorpia Rising fits because it shows that Scorpia were getting stronger. And Cairo Stom seems an irrelevant title. The chapter was only called that because, it was quite literally, a rain storm.

Not really though. Look at the other book titles. Skeleton Key is only called Skeleton Key because it's the name of the island they are on. So Cairo would fit in this one. Scorpia Rising does make sense yes, but so what? Scorpia is getting stronger, yeah, but that doesn't really have much to do with the overall plot. Only because it's about Scorpia and they're getting stronger. Doesn't do the final book title justice in my opin ion.

Yeah but if they weren't stron they wouldn't have gotten anywhere NEAR to completing their assignment, and you could forget about Alex altogether!

I don't really even think they got all that much more powerful...like 6 new members who all did absolutely nothing except for Razim. Woop de doo Tongue It's more like return of scorpia rather than scorpia rising.

And even then, it isn't really the return of scorpia, because they arent the original members. For example, Take That got back together without Robbie, but it wasn't really them, because Robbie wasn't there. I know in this situation, Robbie isn't dead but you understand what I mean haha....

Half of them are still the original members. There were 6 left at the end of Crocodile Tears. And they added 6 new ones. If the new members would have actually DONE something useful then I guess it would be an appropriate title but the whole book was about Razim, not Scorpia. I was hoping Alex would meet all, if not most of the Scorpia Execs.

Yeah, it really was. I was kinda peeved how little Zeljan Kurst had to do with anything. I thought he'd play a bigger part. And if any Scorpia member should die it shouldve been him, and all the rest arrested.
