Anthony Horowitz stated in the CITV interview that he was going to make a Alex Rider 9... This would be after he finishes with the Yassen book... I think it would be GREAT if in the 9th book (if the time period is correct) that it shows how Alex ends up.. It being Alex living a normal life or what we would all want to see if Alex worked at MI6 some how. Not necessarily an agent but maybe a CEO... Like Blunt... I think it a great idea??? grin

Hey Chas, welcome to the board! =)

I'm not sure whether I'd want to know everything that happens to Alex when he grows up. I mean, JKR did an epilogue in Harry Potter 7 and look how that turned out! *shudder*
I suppose if it was done well, then it could be ok.

Tbh I agree. Lotsa people hated the J.K Rowling  epilogue which means it's obviously an unpopular idea unless Horowitz makes it work, which he probably could but it would have to be extremely well written. But he did say he was going to end the books when Alex reached 16 not 36 or something. xP
So just a normal ending or what not I s'pose.

actually it finishes when its alex's 15th birthday and it might be a happy ending

And normal endings don't have to be happy, I just meant it's not gonna go forward a few hundred years in time and that.

I think it'll be more like an ending where we just know Alex's mind [i.e. Happy, distressed, married.. xP]

But you never know. I think Alex sort of needs to be a spy now. It'd be too boring if he weren't Cheesy

Y'never know. Alex could find out he's the next Jack Harkness or something so it skips a couple of hundred years and that... Sorry, my imagination got the better of me. xP

I was sorta hoping on the fact that sabrinas name changed from Sabrina Plessure to Sabrina Rider
