I don't recall reading that book, although, isn't Nicholas Flamel supposed to be friends with Albus Dumbledore?

yes, he is friends with Dumbledor in Harry Potter, but in the book The Alchemist they aren't wizards of the Harry Potter sort.
it has been a little while sense I read it, but I do remember that it was really good and  that there is another one coming out soon. I would suggest that you read it if your in to fantasy.

Puma, when starting a new topic about a book/series/... it's always best to provide information like who's the author, what it's about, and so on and so forth in a clear way.  It helps others who don't know the book

Ya whatever. um it is by sorry the only author i can think of right now is Scott Westerfild and that is not it. But yes it is really good but it is hard to read in the beginning

I'm not THAT obsessed.... okay maybe i am. Just a tad too much. Anthoy Horowitz, Jennifer Lynn Barnes, and Ally Carter are the best teen spy authors. And Meg Cabot rocks too. Rick Riordan too. Love Ya
