Any girl paired up with Artemis will seem weird... Since Artemis is a teenage criminal mastermind.... And the worst part is that he's already a teen and still in somewhat James Bond tuxedo/suit ... Or something...

yup
I read the new book and it was really good, though the others are better
there was a part that went something like this :
"He closed his eyes and hoped holly wouldn't shoot him again
holly shot him again"
It make me crack up
though there were better parts

Yeah, it is smiley I liked and disliked the Atlantis Complex. It was funny and had its Artemis Fowl style -  but I felt that it didn't reach its full potential undecided I wasn't as surprised as I was in, say, the Lost Colony. I like a twist and it wasn't really there.

Yeah, true. The whole Orion thing wasn't a huge twist, not like the rest of the books ...

That said, I could never love Arty less ^^ It made me laugh so hard - particularly that quote! I was surreptiously reading it on my laptop in science class ... I burst out laughing in the middle, it was rather awkward.

Orion was pretty funny though xD The comparison between him and Artemis is awesome.

i have heard thet there is only going to be on more arty book.  sad in one way i'm sad because i like them but then it could be a real anti-climax if was like atlantis.

i hope its good and am i the only one who can see the final showdown between Artemis and Opal?

I have! Really liked it. Was cool, in a sort of short-book-you'd-read-on-a-flight way. Hey, it was one of the few books with a female protagonist that I really liked Tongue

i have read and really liked it also.  smiley

It was on wikipedia when i saw that there is only going to be one more so don't hold me to it but i wouldn't be suprised if it was the last one. 8 books is quite long for a series and after a final Opal v the LEP i can't see any more ideas
