So..the original is in the topic bin, let's start the new one.

Yes it will be out in April 2009, and probably not sooner, maybe later.  It was in the newsletter AH wrote, so the source on this is pretty reliable.

I can not tell you about anything that's in it, because...I don't know.  All I know is what happened in the original, but that doesn't necessarily mean it'll happen in this version as well.

I think that the devestation on a massive scale a the end of the book is that the old ones hypnotise Scar and use her power (if it is true her power is weather controlling) to cause a huge natural disaster in Hong Kong like a huge tornado wiping out Hong Kong or somthing like that.

Apparently necropolis is a name for a graveyard because there is a page about it on wikipedia.

The word itself actually means dead city, or city of the dead.  That a graveyard would be named after it would make sense, and that graveyard probably isn't the only place called that.  Just like there are several Springfields, I'm sure there will be several Necropolis's

In this case however, if it's the same as in the original, it's more like a place of legends, kind of like El Dorado, only very different.  And I think i've said enough without actually giving it away, hehe

So obviously the book has something to do with the dead and if a freind or someone said to me the name City of the Dead i would instantly think it was a horror movie not the fourth book in the Power of Five series. I know it didnt happen in the original as Rainbowstar said but maybe in this series the necropolis is risen by the Old Ones. What does everyone else think?

I am saying that the old ones might create the necropolis and i have just had another thought maybe the necropolis is the place where the old ones keep Scar hostage.
